The leaves are turning the color of blood, and you know what that means. Spooky season is creeping in, and there are three big events I’ll be appearing at to close out my book signings for the year. I may add another appearance before year’s end, but right now this is all that’s scheduled. It’s been an incredible tour for me this year—with stops in Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, Massachusetts, and more—and I am so lucky and grateful to have met so many of my amazing fans. I hope to see more of you at the following events, one of which happens this weekend!
September 21st - 22nd : CT Horrorfest. Hartford, Connecticut. One of New England’s best horror conventions is back. I’ve been doing this show since its first year, and this weekend I’ll be there once again! Also in attendance will be authors Aron Beauregard, Daniel J. Volpe (Saturday only), Mona Kabbani, and S.C. Mendez. Film star guests include Jason Patric, Kathy Najimy, Alex Winter, Doug Bradley, Adrienne Barbeau, Peter Weller, and Ashley Laurence.
October 4th - 6th : Scares That Care presents Authorcon IV. St. Louis, Missouri. I will be a guest of honor at this event! I rarely have the chance to come out to the midwest, so if you’re a fan who lives out there, come by to see me as we welcome the spooky season. There will be a huge amount of other authors there, including Maurice Broaddus, Wile E. Young, Jonathan Janz, Aron Beauregard, Ronald Malfi, Rebecca Rowland, Wrath James White, Daniel J. Volpe, and many more. And better yet, this event benefits the Scares That Care charity, which is always a wonderful cause.
October 19th : Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival. Haverhill Public Library. Haverhill, Massachusetts. This event is usually my final stop of the year, and it’s a great one to close on. Come see me and a plethora of other horror authors TBA, including a special appearance from Joe Hill!
Need something to haul all your books around in at these conventions? I’ve got you covered! I now offer these tote bags on my website! Bag is 19L x 12W, black with red lettering. It features the Read Kristopher Triana death metal style logo on one side. You can carry a crazy amount of books in it too!
So show your support and be the coolest kid on the block at the same time. I will also have these bags at the conventions, as well as t-shirts and con-exclusive giveaway items.
I just got back from a writer’s retreat in the Poconos and have a lot to catch up on before CT Horrorfest, so that’s all for this week’s newsletter. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you soon!
Your pal,
Kris
