New Book Announcement & Cover Reveal

I’ve been writing extreme horror since I was a teenager. My first gory novella was written out longhand in a spiral notebook. Most of the story ideas I had back then have been jettisoned in favor of newer, better ideas from a more seasoned author, but a couple of them germinated over the years, being rewritten multiple times until I finally saw them published. Thirty years of writing the most depraved, disgusting, demented horror fiction has left me with quite the cauldron of extreme short stories. So I’ve decided to put together a special collection—one that gathers the vilest short fiction from the past decade of my writing career.

That book is aptly named Pure Evil.

This is not for the lighthearted horror reader. Those who prefer quiet horror are hereby warned. This book is for those who like their fiction dark and bloody, stories that do not flinch when it comes to breaking taboos and bursting with gore. Fans of Full Brutal, Toxic Love, and The Night Stockers are going to devour this one. I can already hear your drool smacking the floor. The book is so extreme, in fact, that I’ve decide not to sell it on Amazon or through conventional booksellers. Pure Evil’s content (along with its grotesque illustrations) run too much of a risk of getting flagged and me being banned. Therefore, this twisted tome will be exclusive to my Trianahorror website.

I plan to release the hardback in January with a paperback to follow. Preorders will go live in the coming weeks. This newsletter is just a heads up for my hardcore fans because you guys rule the heaviest.

Pure Evil collects thirteen stories. Several have been published in anthologies (some of which are now out of print) while others have never been published before. None of the stories have been collected in a single volume before, so you won’t find them in my other collections Blood Relations and Growing Dark. The variety of tales gives the reader an arching view of my sickest stuff from 2013-2023. There are early stories like the serial killer tale “Dead End” and the snuff romance “The Devouring”, as well as more recent ones like the pervert paradise “Live Nude Horror” and the techno nightmare “The Deepest Fake.” It even includes The Bitch, a novelette so vile I almost didn’t reprint it. But wanting this volume to not hold back on my most repulsive fiction, it is included here in Pure Evil, being republished for the last time. The book also includes a brand-new introduction I wrote just for this release. As mentioned above, the interior features four uncensored illustrations by Nick Justus. I’m also in love with the tentacle girl on the cover (art by Imperial Skulls Studio and cover design by C.V. Hunt), so it will be featured on swag items to come with the book.
