Hello fright fans. I hope the unofficial start of summer is treating you well. Memorial Day weekend was a frigid 49 degrees in the mountains I call home, so there hasn’t been any swimming lately, but I recently bought a 10-speed bike and have been getting my money’s worth out of it. Riding along the river trails creates a sweet serenity that fuels my imagination, leading to more ghastly horrors for my beloved readers and fans.
As thanks to all of you, I’m running a summer sale on my website. From June 4th (today) to June 11th, you can save 15% off everything at TRIANAHORROR. No code is needed. Savings are automatically entered at checkout. I will wait until tomorrow to announce the sale on social media, so my faithful newsletter readers get first crack at the inventory. Most items are back in stock, and my latest novel, I DON’T RECOGNIZE THIS WORLD ANYMORE, is now available exclusively on there in paperback. Order now and you’ll get it before the official release on June 17th.
Recently I found out there’s a town in Alabama that shares my surname. There’s also a historic cemetery there, which tempts me to visit someday. Triana is also a neighborhood in Seville, Spain, where my father’s people came from before settling in Cuba ( I look White because my mother was 100% Irish and my dad had some Italian in his family). But, being me, I am most excited to see my name on a cemetery than anywhere else.
I DON’T RECOGNIZE THIS WORLD ANYMORE has its wide release on June 17th. That’s when you’ll be able to get it on Amazon and at other retailers, in paperback and ebook. An audiobook is currently in production with the great Chuck Brugee (The Night Stockers, Ex-Boogeyman, Along the River of Flesh, Toxic Love) producing. I hope you all are ready for a brutal novel that takes place in the most dangerous women’s prison in America!
Here are my book signings for 2025. More may be announced. I hope you’re able to make one so I can see your beautiful face.
Books and Brews. August 2nd at the Wyndham Hotel in Noblesville, Indiana.
Spooktastic Book Fair. September 13th at the Framingham Public Library in Framingham, Massachusetts.
CT Horrorfest. September 20-21st at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Some of you know I’ve been a regular guest at The Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival in Haverhill, Massachusetts these past six years. I’m not sure I’ll be able to attend this year, so I’ve not committed to it yet. I’ll keep you posted!
That’s all for now. I hope you’ll take advantage of this 15% off sale and give yourself some horror to read while you sit on the beach. Just don’t let others think you’ve seen a shark when you start screaming.
Your pal, always,
Kris
